Right the way across Europe in buildings ranging from 'trendy wine bars' right through to government headquarters, you find our leak detection systems... Not only is this a great testament to the quality of our products, but more importantly it means we've probably specified a system for an application just like yours!

:: Standard to most systems:

Most systems tend to be assembled along the same lines. The area in question will need a base unit, and some means of detecting leaks.

If the 'area' is small, then the system will probably constitute a base unit and detection sensor/s, arranged in 'zones'. In many cases this detection will be based on 'lengths' of linear sensor cable carefully installed around sources of potential leaks; air conditioning units, water pipes etc... Sensors are linked to the control unit by 'leader cable'. In these cases, the water detection is carried out in the control unit....

If the 'area' spans a large distance, and the leakages in question are likely to be diverse, the chances are you will benefit from an intelligent leak detection system. These systems consist of nodes, providing 'remote' leak detection, connected to linear detection cables or sensors. Nodes are addressable devices which report the location and the type of alarm/leak to the base unit when any alarm is instigated.
