» Four Channel Automatic
Telephone Dialling Unit : AutoCall
The Aqualeak AutoCall Automatic Telephone Dialling Unit is a
British Telecom approved self-contained mains-powered analogue
Autodial which can be triggered from up to four entirely separate
Alarm inputs and to send out either a pre-recorded voice message or
a SMS Text message.
The AutoCall can be programmed to automatically telephone up to ten
separate recipient telephone numbers. Once an alarm input has been
activated, the AutoCall will dial the number and play the 'site
address' message and then the appropriate 'alarm' message to the
first Recipient who, on hearing the message, can acknowledge the
call by pressing a key on his own tone telephone and thereby stop
the message being transmitted to the others.
If nobody acknowledges the message, the message is repeated four
separate times on each call and all recipients are called a total of
three times before the system closes down. The unit retains a log of
the last successful call.
As the AutoCall is analogue, no modems, central stations, external
monitoring organisations or monitoring fees are involved. Unlike
many 'dialler modules' which require low voltage power supplies from
elsewhere, the AutoCall unit is a mains-powered system which has its
own regulated power supply unit and which can also be supplied with
an optional Battery Backup Pack. The Unit requires connection to the
mains supply, has connection terminals for the alarms being
monitored, and has a plug connection to the telephone line.
It is beneficial at all times to provide a dedicated telephone line
to the system to ensure complete exclusivity. The AutoCall system
would require to be programmed with up to ten recipient telephone
numbers via the integral keyboard, and requires to have the 'alarm'
messages recorded directly via an on-board microphone/speaker, none
of which requires any specialised equipment or knowledge.
