» LeakTrace Multi Zone Water Leak Detection:

The LeakTrace is a 'multizone' intelligent water-leak detection system. With conventional 'zonal' water leak detection systems all zones are brought back to the control unit and the detection 'happens' within the base unit. With the Wayscale LeakTrace system, detection can not only be provided on-board, but also remotely, using sensing nodes installed in the areas being protected. Monitoring is provided in multiples of four sensing-zones [4, 8 (pictured), 12, 16 etc].

The LeakTrace offers the flexibility of providing a system which can be upgraded as the monitoring requirements in the building grow by adding on-board or remote sensing zones which provide multiple alarms simultaneously from all the addressable sensors. It is ideally suited for large buildings with multiple floors or large areas with the need for immediate identification of as many alarms as there are sensors (not generally possible with competitive linear measurement systems). 

The system can be upgraded as required to offer a maximum of 128 zones of leak detection. The LeakTrace is also 'reactive' and can prevent water damage by activating 'relay nodes' adjacent to the alarm to provide selective software-driven valve or power system shutdown facilities. The LeakTrace can optionally be provided with a 'history log' which stores the date and time each alarm starts and finishes.

The LeakTrace is provided with n/v relays for common alarm, common fault, autodial, and power fault, and can also be provided with an adjacent BMS interface relay panel or a full graphics mimic panel with sector alarm locator lights.
