» Four Zone Environmental Alarm Units: type OCW4

The OCW4 environmental alarm centre is designed to monitor computer rooms and technical areas such as server rooms, and to provide combined security against damage caused by water leaks, fire, overtemperature and humidity, - all in one unit. 

The OCW Unit is also designed to monitor for overtemperature damage or for ingress of water in larger computer rooms or other critical areas where the OCW would normally be configured to provide two zones of temperature monitoring and two zones of water leak detection, or combinations thereof.

The two-zone overtemperature system can be used either as a low/high temperature alarm, or as a two-zone temperature alarm, or as a two-stage overtemperature alarm, by setting of the sensor controls. The two-zone water leak detection system can monitor from linear water detection sensor cables, or from pads or probes, or from any of the specialised Wayscale sensors. 

If any sensor detects an alarm, a horn sounds and a zone light illuminates on the control facia. The horn can be muted by pressing the mute button but the light/s would remain on until the condition clears, and then automatically reset. All zones are independent.

The OCW Unit is provided with output signalling relays for common alarm, timed common alarm/autodial and can be provided with ‘double-knock’ shutdown of water solenoid valves or to switch off power supplies. It can also be optionally supplied with individual signalling relays indicating which zone has activated. It can also have a battery backup pack and can be fitted with an integral automatic telephone dialling unit which can ring home in the event of problems.
