Telephone Dialling Unit : SoloDial
The Aqualeak SoloDial Automatic Telephone Dialling Unit is a
British Telecom approved self-contained mains-powered analogue
Autodial which can be triggered from one or more alarm
sources.
The SoloDial will automatically telephone up to eight separate
recipient telephone numbers to play a pre-recorded voice message to
advise the location address and that the alarm has been activated.
As the SoloDial is analogue, no modems, central stations, external
monitoring organisations or monitoring fees are involved. Unlike
many 'dialler modules' which require low voltage power supplies from
elsewhere, the SoloDial unit is a mains-powered system which has its
own regulated power supply unit and which can also be supplied with
an optional Battery Backup Pack.
The Unit requires connection to the mains supply, has connection
terminals for the alarm being monitored, and has a plug connection
to the telephone line.
It is beneficial at all times to provide a dedicated telephone line
to the system to ensure complete exclusivity. The SoloDial system
would require to be programmed with up to eight Recipient telephone
numbers via the integral keyboard, and requires to have the 'alarm'
message recorded directly via an on-board microphone/speaker.
The telephone numbers and messages are fully site programmable and
require no specialised equipment or knowledge. Once any alarm input
has been activated, the SoloDial will dial the number and play the
'site address' message and the 'alarm' message.
